Our Background & Philosophy
We are the Jordan Archery Club, based in Amman, Jordan.
We are pleased to introduce the esteemed sport of Archery to Jordan.
Establish in 2019, our club started its journey with lots of passion, dedication and eye on the main target; which is making the sport of Archery available to as many as possible.
During the course of the establishment phase, we decided to focus on the inclusiveness of this sport, how we can use it to empower women and children, develop personal skills and create a community for those who share the love of this sport in our country.
We are strong believers that our country does have the potential of having archery clubs, a national team and maybe one day, with all the hard work, determination and continuous support, have an Olympic team in the near future.
VISION:
CREATE A STRONG ARCHERY BASE IN JORDAN
MISSION:
We aim to introduce the prestigious sport of archery in Jordan, engage with athletes, develop the sports by focusing on 3 main objects:
Introduce
Jordan has to be familiar with the history of archery, the rules and regulations and the sport’s technicality. We are the first to introduce this sport to the market as an official club and Association.
Engage & Build
We want to engage archery lovers in different communities and within different age groups through classes, schools, clubs and training programs.
By achieving this, we believe that we will create a huge archery community in Jordan, build fan base for this sport and establishing a local team.
Progress & Develop
Setting a plan to progress in this sport by having a permanent venue, increasing number of archers, creating more awareness, including the sport in school curriculums and have a sustainable 2 year plan that will leverage the presence of Archery and the sport in Jordan.
